Wat Pho, Bangkok

Wat Pho, The Temple of Reclining Buddha. One of the famous spot in Bangkok. It is within walking distance from Grand Palace.

It was Thursday afternoon, our actual plan is to visit the Grand Palace. Because the Grand Palace closed for local Thai prayers (until 3 pm), we chosen this as our alternative.

There are many old building in this temple. It is under continuous maintenance to ensure its good condition.

The entrance fee is 50 bath, which is about RM5+. The area of Wat Pho is large and there are many things inside worth visiting.

We didn't have much time to spend here, that's why we missed out quite a number of nice spot in this temple.

May be because of celebration, on the day we visit, there were cultural show in the temple.

This is one of the building under maintenance and we did not enter, the workers are repainting the building.

There are many this kind of building in the temple, not very sure why is this built for. It we were to get a local tour guide with us, then we should be able to get an answer.

It is inside the courtyard of the temple, there are big and also small but with similar shapes.
