Temple of Heaven (天坛)

Temple of Heaven

It was built in Ming Dynasty and expanded few times in Qing Dynasty. It is the place for Emperors to worship for whole year harvest to god.

Surrounding the temple are many types of tree and plants. But it is now being converted into a beautiful garden.

This is another corner of the garden, the leafs of these trees have dropped because it is now winter time. If we visit this place during the spring time, then it should be much nicer.

WangFuJing, Beijing

WangFuJing, the largest shopping area in Beijing. Most tourist will visit this place during their stay in Beijing. It is a walking shopping street, there are many shopping centers along this street.

This is the clock tower in WangFuJing. It is situated at the middle of WangFuJing, attached to the Beijing Shopping Center building. This is one of the most crowded shops during week-end.

Beijing Muslim Plaza. It is located at the center of WangFuJing, just next to the clock tower. I am not sure about the population of Muslim in Beijing, but I am supprise that this building is located at the center of this area.

This is one of the shopping centers in WangFuJing, I did not find out it's name, but just find the building special, that why took a photo on it.

This was taken at the middle of WangFuJing Walk. It is a walking street. During the day time of week day, there aren't many people on the street, but when come to night time, it is very crowded.

Gold Coast, Australia

Surfer Paradise, Gold Coast, Australia. A beautiful seaside. We went there in July, the weather is a bit cold, that's why we didn't spend time on sea sport activities.

This was taken when we were driving along the north coast of Surfer Paradise. Along the seaside, there are many this kind of bird.

Aquaduck. This is special designed vehicle that can drive on the road and also as a boat navigate in the sea.

Hard Rock at Surfer Paradise. This is the land mark for us in Surfer Paradise. We use to tell the bus driver or hotel pick up to drop us infront of this buldingl. Hard Rock guitar sign board is easy to remember.

Sydney Explorer

We were taking the bus service called "Sydney Explorer" to go around Sydney. This is Sydney Tower. I think it function should be very similar to KL Tower in Malaysia.

I can recall what is this building. This was taken from the bus.

This is an art gallery.

This is Barbour Bridge. We were taking the Sydney Explorer bus across this giant bridge.

At the middle of Harbour Bridge.

China Town, Sydney

Paddy Market. This is the outlook of Paddy Market, just opposite China Town. I think this building is quite old and not really properly maintained. Inside Paddy Market, you can get some sundries and souvenirs. The price maybe slightly lower as compared to other places.

This photo is taken inside Paddy Market. There are quite many people inside. I think mostly are tourists.

Electric Tram. This is the tram service outside Paddy Market. It is very quite type. This is one of the reason why I like Sydney, low noise pollution.

Inside China Town. If I am not wrong, China Town in Sydney consists of three parallel streets. This is one of the street in China Town. The design of shops decoration look very much like Hong Kong. Even food selling in this place also look very much like food in Hong Kong. Maybe many migrants from Hong Kong.

This is the main entrance of China Town.

Harbour Cruise, Sydney

Opera House. Land mark of Sydney City. They took many years to complete this building and have changed a few chief engineer before the completion of this building.

This was taken when we were on the harbour cruise (different view).

This was taken from another perspective. We were walking from Circular Quay to Opera House. Facing us is the restaurant.

This is something special infront of the Opera House. A car crashed by a giant stone.

This is how the Opera House is being designed.

Initially we thought this is a plastic statue and we were taking photo. But after we took this photo, this man was asking us to drop money into the box infront of him. He is really professional, he was not moving at all for at least 15 minutes before we took this photo.

This is the library at the left side of Circular Quay.

This is a restaurant, I took this photo when we were strolling along the walking path at the left side of Circular Quay.

Harbour Bridge. Another land mark construction in Sydney. You are allowed to climb over this bridge and you will be given a certificate for that. Maybe to show that you are brave. :-D

Feeding seagull. Before you ride on harbour cruise, you should get some bread ready. Such that you can feed these seagulls.

Circular Quay and Darling Harbour - Sydney, Australia

These photos were taken about three years ago. This is the clock building opposite Circular Quay.

Circular Quay is the transport exchange in Sydney. You can get taxi, train, bus and cruise here.

We bought the Sydney Pass for 3 days that cost us about 300 MYR per person. With this pass, you can take bus, cruise and train for unlimited ride within the three days in Sydney City.

Darling Harbour. We took the ferry to Darling Harbour. It is about 30 to 45 minutes away from Circular Quay. This is a beautiful harbour.

There is a bridge connecting the two sides of the harbour. From this photo, you can also see the monorail railway along the bridge. You can either walk over to the other side of the harbour or by monorail.

The monorial is a quite one. As you can see in this photo, the train is not very far way from the walking path on the bridge.

In the harbour, there was a war ship exhibition. But due to time constraint, we did not visit the exhibition.

This was taken in the train station when we take the train from Town Hall to Circular Quay.

You are allowed to take you bicycle with you such that you can cycle from the destinated train station to places you want to visit. The train cabin has two decks, so the train can carries more passengers.

Luna Bar Restaurant, KL

Luna Bar Restaurant, a restaurant located at the top floor of one of the hotel in KL city between KL Tower and Shangri-La Hotel.

At night, when lights are up, it become an attractive bar. Many foreigners come to this place to enjoy their evening. There are many types of liquor available here with different prices. Due to the liquor products are heavily taxed by government, of course they will be expensive here.

You can see AmBank bulding clearly at Jalan Raja Chulan. This is a landmark building because of the camel lighting at the bulding's glass window.

This is the swiming pool in the restaurant. No one is swiming in this pool at night. But during day time, it may be a good experience to do so.

You can order you food and enjoy it at the tiny garden here. This is one floor above the pool side restaurant.

From the tiny garden, you can see the pool, the night view of KLCC and surrounding buildings.

At the left side of the restaurant, you can see monorel station Medan Tuanku.

KL Tower is just next to this building.

Hari Raya 2007 Decoration in Mid Valley

Decoration at Mid-Valley Mega Mall, Center Court. Similar to previous years, the decoration here is quite grand.

But I still think these decorations are not stylish enough, not really attracting youngster.

They are people waiting for "buka puasa" and also the performance at the stage.
