Hong Kong International Airport

Hong Kong International Airport, one of the most busy airport in Asia Pacific. We arrived at this airport in the evening (partly due to flight delayed) and then took bus (cruise, cost about RMB140.00) from airport to Novotel Watergate Hotel in Shenzhen. We have to pass Hong Kong Emigration in the airport, then exit Hong Kong Emigration near Shenzhen and finally enter China Emigration in Shenzhen. It is quite troublesome.

At the departure hall, there is this airplane model (this must be a very old model) hanging at the airport entrance.

There are overhead bridges connect you from the airport entrance to the departure hall. Beneath these bridges is the arrival hall.

It was 2 weeks to Chinese New Year, the airport was well decorated for the new year celebration.

Typical Chinese New Year decoration - Lion Dance. From the decoration, you will know the coming year is a "Pig" year. Many tourists took the apportunity to snap some photos here (including me).

Trolleys.

These are check-in counters in the airport. Maybe they are very efficient, I didn't see many people queuing at the counter. Very different from Dubai International Airport, long queue is a norm.

For most of us, we will check-in via Internet and just collect the boarding pass from the counter and then check-in our luggages.

This is one of the information counter at the arrival hall.
