CNY at FGS Dong Zen
Last Saturday, I went to FGS Dong Zen Temple at Jenjarom with my family. I took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach there because the traffic after the Banting exit from Kesas Expressway was very bad. I finally reach there at about eight something.
We have to park our car about 0.5 km away from the temple because the nearer parking were all fulled. One of my friend even have to park the car 1 km away from the temple, which he came 1 hour later than me.
There were a lot of visitors and it is a bit difficult to take photos.
This is the main hall of the temple, in mandarin it is called "Da Xiong Bao Dian". To enter the hall, you have to take off your shoe and leave it outside the hall.
Guess what happen, I nearly lost my shoe there. Fortunately, I finally got it back.
There is a big drum in the hall, it is used for prayer purposes.
One of the lantern hanging in the hall, a typical Chinese lantern. I find this quite unique, that's why I took a photo on this.
There are many this kind of red color lanterns hanging surrounding the hall.
The left corridor of the hall. There are many shoe racks here for visitor to place their shoe when entering the hall. I saw many old folks sitting on it because there are tired.
At about 10.00 pm, there were performances by representatives from various organisations. Like, Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, Culture Show, Fireworks Display etc.
My son was attracted by the Lion Dance performance and fireworks display.
Before performance, the performers were waiting at the waking path besides the main hall.
The corridor is decorated with many running lights and makes the surrounding areas as in daylight.
Near the entrance, there is a garden decorated with lanterns. There were so crouded and make it very difficult to take photo.
A row of artificial flowers in the garden. I don't have much time to adjust the shuttle and aperture, as such some part of the photo is a bit dark.
Lanterns hanging at the entrance wall. It makes the whole temple look so grand.
At one corner of the main entrance, there is this statue looked very nice.
I think this is the main building that the monks and nuns living.
The trees surrounding the temple also decorated with running lights.

The Mine Beach Resort
I spent 2 days in The Mine Beach Resort during Chinese New Year with my family. My son likes this resort very much, because it has a artificial sand beach swiming pool.
Viewing from the balcony of the room, I can see a narrow path to the the swiming pool. I can also hear the water sound from the artificial water fall beside the swiming pool.
Because there are many trees planted, that cause the environment quite cool at night. But, got many mosquitoes also.
At the balcony, there are 2 chairs with a table for your relaxing time. We finally convert it into a Majong Table.
Viewing from the resort lobby, this is another row of resort units opposite the unit we are staying.
This is pool side view taken from the restaurant next to the lobby, we intended to have buffet dinner in this restaurant on Sunday, but it is only available on Friday and Saturday night only.
The artificial water fall attached to the swiming pool.
The SPA is at the 2nd floor. This is a small garden view from the corridor to the SPA.

The Mines Wonderland
Just infront of the entrance, there is a pair of Macaw welcoming visitors to the wonderland.
Other than this pair of birds, there are another 12 animals that represent the 12 Chinese Horoscopes.
This is a ship made up from artificial flower also.
There is a photoshop stall next to it. I spent RM10.00 to take a photo, but ended up not quite happy with the quality of the photo.
Statue at the main entrance. Did not attend much to this statue because I was with my two kids.
The 1st performance of the day is Lion Dance.
My son was attracted with this very much.
Before lighted up. This photo was taken at about 7.00 pm. I don't know what is the name of these trees, but look quite nice.
After lights are switched on, it look much nicer.
Music Fountain. The fireworks performance just behind the Music Fountain. There are other performances before this, like Chinese Acrobatic shows.
Dragon decorated with light bulb. I have taken a few photos, but this is the only one presentable, the rest were deleted because they were very blur due to slow shuttle speed.
Don't what is the name of this pagoda. But it is a very nice one.
Artificial lotus flower in the pond. You may take the Tram go surround the pond.
The canal is decorated with lighted flowers as well.
